Three cars overtake a prison bus causing it to swerve, hit the back of a car and turn over. Stunt was done in 2 parts. The first part had all of the cars overtaking the bus and doing slides. The second part placed an unoccupied car in the road for the bus to fire the cannon. The bus was traveling 60mph and it took 3 air cannon to turn it over.
A taxicab and Audi are locked together after a head on collision and race thru streets, weaving in and out of cars. The two cars are chased thru the streets by cops and bad guys doing near misses, slides, sideswipes and a 360-degree spin. The cars were partly chained together for some shots including the 360-degree spin. For the sideswipes, the cars were on the same chassis being driven from both ends with two stunt drivers. For most shots, a single, blind driver drove the cars through traffic. CGI is used to show the actor in a vehicle as it is t-boned.
As three cars race down a highway into oncoming traffic, they try to exchange a bag and a hostage. Near misses including 2 semi trucks, a motorcycle and several cars do not prevent the exchange. https://www.taurusworldstuntawards.com/awards/2005-winners-nominees/
